I'm in the process of getting quotes for my stage 1 over the winter on my 2010 FXDF. One indy shop that I contacted strongly promoted the RCX-Celerator fuel management system. He said at around $375 you get the most bang for the buck and autotune. He said $80 for install and never need to do anything else or throw it on a dyno.
I had never heard of this tuner before and was wondering if anyone else had any experience with it. The big three I always hear mentioned and endorsed are the SEPST, TTS Mastertune and PCV.
There's at least three similar systems out there now, including this one.
From what I see they all promise great things but fall down on the actual realisation. This kind of unit is available for a lot of bikes now and some folks have reasonable results but there also a lot of folks who have had patchy results, with poor performance at various rev ranges.
For a lot less money you could fit a set of Xieds and get pretty much a similar result. Or for about the same money you could get a real tuner (TTS, SEPST, etc) and make a proper job of it.
I use the PCV with AT. I did a cam change did nothing to the PCV, it ran great.
I am not interested in the max. power from my bikes, just close.
I don't race, I don't go to the track with em, I just ride and enjoy riding.
I would rather have better mpg-I ride a lot- than best performance. Don't get me wrong I like power but I also want mpg. I make comprises between the 2.
But that is me.
each to their own I say.

I personally would go with one of the more common tuners. Better support and knowledge base. Have heard MANY great things about FuelMoto. That is were I'll get mine next year at tax time.
Yeah, I'm leaning towards either the PCV or the SEPST. It all depends on which shop gives me the best pricing. I'm very leary of going with something that I haven't heard of and haven't heard anyone using.
