I went out for lunch on the way back to work my bike died 50 times and the red key light would come on I never had to re start it it would just pick back u like nothing was wrong..... kind of like running out of gas....but it has gas (1/4of tank) the "6" gear light even came on one time. This is my first fuel injected key fob crap bike I have ever owned thanks in advance for any help
Sounds like your saying the engine is sputtering right. It's not actually dying or needing restarted? It shouldn't be the fob cause once started it stays running if the batteries are dead.

You might have answered your question. If the key fob is out of range of the bike it will die completely. Might be something wrong with your fob (battery inside?). I would try the other one if you have one, then open the one you have been using and check the battery out. Or start your bike, walk away with the fob and see what happens.
It dies completely but I've been rolling when it dies so it starts back up when it dies I pull the clutch in the gauges go limp key light comes on and it starts back up... Like it was running out of gas on a carb bike...... It's got fuel so idk
I went to start it again and it clicked and all the lights went dead I pulled the battery cover off (I put a new deka battery in a few days ago) and tightened the post....everything starts fine haven't rode it yet though..... Do y'all use the brass spacers that come with the battery. I never have before but I feel this bike might need them
So you're saying this problem started after your replaced the battery? If that's the case, you likely had a loose battery connection.
Other thing that came to mind was the system relay...had this same thing happen to me with a Sporty once & that was the problem.
Ya I've rode it a few times with no issues I didn't use the brass washers cause I thought they would stick out to far and touch the battery cover I'm gonna put them on and give it a shot
check for a DTC, I can narrow it down for ya, hold trip button and cycle to ignition, use the trip button to move from screen to screen find any codes let me know.
