Driving down the freeway last weekend, my taillight unexpectedly flew off the back of the bike, hung by its wires, finally gave way and bounced off the ground & hood of another driver's car. Not awesome. Here's a closer look at what happened:
SO... needless to say, I'm in the market for a new taillight. I've already purchased a replacement backing plate for the original pictured above. The Custom Dynamics Genesis II taillight w/ integrated turn signals has really caught my eye: http://www.customdynamics.com/street...taillights.htm
Is anyone currently running this light? If so, did you need a load equalizer for the turns, as they are LED?
General question to the community: Those of you who are running LED turns / taillight with a load equalizer, where are you mounting the load equalizer? Any brand suggestions?
I'm running LEDs for all 4 sigs and the taillight. The load equalizer I use is from Biketronics, is plug and play and easily mounts under the seat of my Dyna. The thing I like about Biketronics is that it's guaranteed for life, not something too common for electronics.
