Did you scotch brite or sand your rocker boxes? It takes ***** to get into a good bike like that, But the risk is worth the reward. GREAT LOOKIN BIKE!!!

Yes it is, took a while to get my head round doing a mod like this, but now I've done it am so pleased with the result.

Thanks guys for all the positive comments, it's taken me a while to get the bike to this stage & hopefully only a few more things to get it finished ! Certainly very different than when I bought it new 3 yrs ago, sure some people will say its not the most practical of rides, but I still get a huge buzz everytime I take it out for a ride !

Scotch brite & wd40 ! I know what your saying though, when I started I wasn't 100% sure, but now I'm really into it !

Default Motogadget speedometer

Paul how did you wire up your motogadget? I got the mini digital model and don't get any speed reading? Did you wire it into the harness off the OEM speed sensor? Did you have to put a 2K resisitor across the power and signal wires from the speed sensor? Thanks for any info you have.
