I got one of his solo-bags last year, even spent a bit more to get a bigger one maximize space. It is alright, but as it's gotten more wear, I found it doesn't seal up that well (I have a good 1 1/2" gap where it folds over itself where the inside is exposed, not good for stashing stuff in the rain), and has rubbed the finish off parts of the belt guard.

Well, you can't fault the bag for wearing off the paint. Anything that's in contact with a painted surface for any length of time is obviously going to damage the paint.

Floppy bags is always a concern with leather regardless of the thickness. The sun, rain and wind will eventually take its toll.
It looks like you might me able to squeeze the bigger bag onto there (DL02BL). Anyone ever try to with the side mount lic plate?
I have the DR02BL (right side), shown in sig pic, and want one for the left side. My side mount plate is on the axle nut, so it's a bit lower than stock. Check out my garage for more pics. I also posted an album for another forum member of how the bag mounts up with the detachable sissy bar.
I emailed Greg (Bad&G) a pic of my left side and asked his opinion. He said to just take the right side bag and flip it over to see if the DL02BL will fit (should've thought of that myself). It did, so I plan on ordering the left side bag soon.

I wanna see how this turns out. Make sure to report on it!
I have been looking for hard bags and cannot find any I like. I like the way this bag looks. Think I can fit a leather jacket in them ok? Anybody else has more pics of this bag on their dyna?
