Took the bike out today for a short ride in the cold here. As luck would have it on my way back to the house a rock from a truck in front of me smacked the headlight and shattered the glass in one of the lamps. I have a 2010 FXDF with the double light. Anyone know if I can buy only the replacement lens or do I have to get the whole assembly? If I can't get just the glass I think I'm gonna go for the LED light. Any info would be great.

 

You should be able to get a lens. I upgraded to the LED at delivery of the bike. I have the removed parts in a box and the lens is removed from the housing.

Mines a Street Bob and its probably not the same headlight, but send me your headlight diameter and I'll measure mine. If its the same, we can work something out.

 

I appreciate that but the light on my bike is the double lens. Pretty sure its they are smaller than the street bob. What diameter is the stock one from the SB?

 

I think the Street Bob is 5-1/4" and the Fat Bob is 4" ... might be off slightly ... but, am doubtful of a match ...

Yeah. It's 5 1/4. I was wrong about he loose lens. I dug through the box of stock parts and the lens is attached to a tan plastic back piece.

 

Better a head light than your face.
