H D script axle cover. Easy to mount??

H D script axle cover. Easy to mount??
Winter in PA. When I cant ride I buy little things to add to my 2006 fxdi. How do I put the exhaust side cover on? Do I have to remove muffler or can I just pull it out a bit?

Have someone sit on the bike; it will force the swing arm to pivot upward and that will clear the axle enough to slip the cover past the mufflers. Or at least that worked for me.

Depends on where the shocks are set, if they are set on the first position maybe 130 lbs. will be enough weight but if the shocks are at the highest position then get the kids and the dog.
