I have the heated jacket liner and gloves from HD. If you don't want to wear 20 layers of clothing, this will work. You're still going to want to get something to cover your neck and legs (chaps), and if you have a full face helmet, it will help. Also, a windshield makes a big difference in arctic weather. Believe me...I know...the high temp here in NJ was about 10 degrees today...with the wind blowing at 20 mph, it felt like...well...you get the picture. Enjoy the new ride
