the wire mesh seems like a fantastic idea. wish I would have thought of that before I did mine. I'm considering tearing it apart just to ad the mesh Great Idea , cary , everyone should use it.

This is a real issue if you do not use any kind of "conduit" to protect the wires inside the bars. Any bar that is welded may have sharp points inside at the joints, it only takes one to ruin your day.

Either wire mesh or the soft tubing, which is what we use, will work perfectly.

When we install wires we install them at the same time as the tubing and push/pull the tubing not the wire. By pushing as you pull it should easily go around any corner. Give it more push than pull and you will not have any problems.
