Thanks. Nice looking bob Friso. Had to fabricate some brackets for the fairing, the brackets that came with it don't work with the FXD style trees... they are for the older FXR trees (had I known this I would have just gone with the Ness wide glide fairing). The fairing attaches to a headlight relocation bracket on the bottom, and attaches to the pinch bolts on the trees on each side. Yeah, just a standard 5 3/4" housing, with LED light.

Just got the dyno results... 109 hp / 107 tq

That's funny I was thinking of going the other way. You may find once you read up on the newer style cranks your better off with your bike. .unless you don't mind tearing the engine down and paying over a grand just to get the crank worked over on the Fat Bob to be as good as what you have.

Meh, I know the tolerances on the newer cast cranks are sloppier, but I wouldn't be going gear drive, chain has more room for play. I have a buddy with an FXDB with 87k on it, no issues with the cam chest, tensioners still looked pretty fresh at 75k. I think the new style hydraulic tensioners are pretty much good to go, and I really want to go EFI

Default bike looks amazing...

I am going a similar route with my set up. wish i could get mine together as quick as yours... just got my bars set up... I went with a night rod bar on top of an 8" riser which brings me about 11.5" high. just curious what lengths you went with for your throttle/idle, clutch and brake lines... bikes looking wicked man...

Thanks, clutch cable is 65 11/16" (4" over stock); the brake, idle, & throttle are stock length. The clutch cable could stand to be 1"-1.5" shorter. The lines I went with are Pearl Magnum from Drag Specialties.

Not the best picture of my bars but ill make a thread in the next few days as i get more parts in... just curious u didnt have any issues with your brake, idle and throttle being too short? i tried to mock mine up and the stock cables wouldnt even reach. I figured id have to order +6" on all my for all my cables going from the original 4.5" riser to 8" and adding 3.5" with the bars... from what the drag book has listed stock 2010 cables are suppose to run (60" clutch) (29.5 throttle) (28.5 idle) and (18/1/4 front brake cable) so i was going to order their +6 everything... am i missing something? just trying to cover the basis hate waiting for something to show up and find its not gonna work...

We originally ordered +4 on everything and all but the clutch cable was way too long, so we went back to stock length for everything else. Some of the difference may not just be in riser height, but in bar width as well. My advice would be to mock up your lines with string and then measure the string.

Sorry to keep high jacking your thread just figured if anyone searches with the same question as me all of the information will be in one place for them... Mocked up my lines like you said and came up with... approx. 67/1/4 on the clutch(running the line through the top triple tree) and 25/1/4 on the brake(running through the top tree)... the throttle and idle came close to fitting but i think ill go up a few inches... Just gonna order stock street bob cables through drag because i know my set up works on stock street bob wiring... they pretty much matchup with my measurements wish i thought of that before... now just gonna order drag +6 wires for dual disc front brakes tmrw...
Thank you for your help look forward to seeing what else you have planned for your bike!
