This stuff is great for thing your not going to touch and mess with. I have done my truck wheels and it holds up well. Op did the gas cap. Don't know how we'll that will hold up since you need to take the cap on and off at least once a week.

It should hold up well, if pressure washing won't take it off, then touching it shouldnt.I've herd gas will affect it too, well see how it goes. Ill let you guys know after a month or so. Prep is easy, like the other guy said, just wipe off with alcohol and water and that's it. Search plasti dip on youtube, a user called dipyourcar makes awesome videos on it!

Damn, I need to get some of this stuff. My horn cover & air cleaner cover are the only 2 things that stand out & need to be blacked out!

I blacked my FXDXT out with it. Lower fork legs, rims and signals!! Looks great, and I would agree-looks like wrinkle black! Seems to hold up well!

Going to try and paint my sparto light and horn cover with this
http://rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=514
Black chrome paint kit.
Have it ordered and should arrive next week.
I like the gloss of chrome but like the ability to blacken it as much as I want.

OK plasti dip doesn't last forever , but it is a real easy do-over and for that little money , I think it's a great product.
