I see you're sporting a D&D FatCat exhaust ... I think one can run into trouble trying to use the setup with the stock headpipe (also stock Wide Glide) ...
Its kit 50500247 i bought it from lshd1= lakeshore hd. It was 350. Wont work with the tommygun exhaust. The right side bracket just barely fits with the fatcat.
Any idea if this kit could be easily modified to work with 3" forward control extensions? I am a tall rider, and have the 3" kury extensions on my fatbob. Would love to put some floorboards on as I am doing longer rides these days.

Forum member FBinSoCal just installed a prototype extension kit with his Switchback footboards ... pretty slick ... but, to my knowledge, nothing available on the market to move the FLD footboards forward ... yet ...
Here are a couple photos ...
I helped install them ... the front bracket mount is just like a forward control extension kit for forwards ... the rear is a horizontal plate that moves the rear of the bracket forward a commensurate amount ... (also needs an extension on the brake rod) ...

i only noticed a little play in the brake pedal. I used my stock shifter set up. not sure if the one in the kit is different or not. havent ridden yet cuz its cold as hell here. but the riding position feels a lot like my old street glide. im happy with it. like i said before the rear right side bracket is touching the heat shield on my exhaust. hope it doesnt cause problems. if it does become problematic i will just notch it out.

I wonder if a Harley Goodies kit would help you. They move your boards out from the bike about an inch. I have had them on every bike I have had boards on. Money WELL spent...
