Craftsman has a sale this week. It's useful to have one in inch-pounds and one in foot-pounds, both 3/8" drive. Later I found I also needed a 1/2" drive foot-pounds wrench for doing axles.
I have 3 1 from Advance auto and 2 from Harbor freight... Checked them against my Son in law snap on and they were almost right on..
I have a In/lbs, a Ft/lbs and a 1/2: ft/lbs.
I went cheep and bought the harbor frieght ones and haven't had any issues with them at all. I make sure and put it back in the case when I'm done so I don't throw off the calibration by dropping it. They gaurantee it will be in specs within a few #'s....
Check Sears,Last I knew their torque wrenches were not covered with lifetime warranty.Might be different today.
True statement...ask me how I know.

This is what I ended up doing. Got the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/8 drives for less then I paid for the POS from Sears and haven't had any issues with them.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a torque wrench from Harbor Freight. Get both a 3/8 and 1/4". As with any torque wrench take care of it. Use it only for torquing, and always run it back to "0" when you're finished using it.
