Poindexter, surprised that you havent found a set of passenger hand warmers for your parts mobile. Still say that you took a stock beauty and WAY over blinged it. It looks silly.
No where near as silly as silver grommets on the saddlebags, what happened, lose your horse?
all the money spent for a pieced together looking thing? i dont think for the $17500 spent to date that it looks so bad for something that can go from this to stripped in less than 10 minutes, lets see you do that with a ultra or road glide at 25k plus
furthermore you prove my point, that if you had half a brain you would be dangerous but then again i guess that's why you ride a softail yet hang out in the dyna section...
Man, your bike looks great. I think you achieved what a lot of people want; a bike that tours comfortably, but quickly strips down to something sportier. Well done.

1HD1C, I think you did a great job. You've got the best of all worlds a light bike that handles well but can run the long hauls comfortably.
Those who haven't ridden a Dyna just will never get it.
2011 Deluxe, sorry dude but unless you've done a gammit of long tours, twisties, and much on a Dyna and a Dresser, you are clueless about what the OP has accomplished and why. Enjoy your Softtail, it likely suits your riding style.

Any modification necessary to the stock riser? trimming of the bar etc?
Yeah, no biggie though. Had to merely grind off about 1/16th from the outside bottom corners of the cap. Otherwise it worked fine with the stock risers.

I don't think there are too many really modded switchbacks...
Here is mine so far, I say so far because I still have a ton more to do:
21" front wheels ( on the way)
Lowered front end
Arnott air ride and blocks so I can drag the ***
Gloss black out all of the chrome
I would LOVE to have stretched bags but no one makes them, does anyone know some who stretched the factory bags?
