looks great how did you move you turn signals? can you still use the windshield? thanks i have the same fld
Sorry, I just seen this. I used a set of road king exhaust studs, screwed them into the forks. I removed the mounts off of the factory signals and screwed them onto the studs. I reused the windshield grommet so yes I can still use the shield.if you google switchback turnsignal mods you should be able to find a bunch of info. Thanks.
Hello... great Switchbacks here. How is everyone relocating the turn signals to the forks & keeping windshield hardware?? I am having a hard time finding info on this. I saw one guy do it with threaded rod, but he had to re tap the turn signals... Is that the way to do it?
Hey guys! All the Switchback's look awesome. To the guys with the batwing fairings... I'm new to the switchback, does that hook up to the quick release grommets? Thanks!

Depending on what fairing you use there are different quick attachment brackets you put on the bike. Reckless fairings require a little bit bigger of a bracket to fit the fairing on it, but it does not look any different that the stock one.
Switchback mods. Where mods mean design, cut, weld, fabricate - not just unwrap and bolt on.
And here I thought all along MOD meant "TO MODIFY"... Didn't realize you had to modify to a certain extent to qualify as a "mod"... Lol Just busting ur ***** dude. But it's kinda like a marathoner telling the 100m sprinter that he doesn't "run" until he's done as much as 26 miles at a time. Everyone I know has a modded bike... Some more than others, but I believe the point of the OP was to see what all modifications have been done to our FLDs.... Not, who all is a fab and welder guy... JMHO
