Congrats on the new ride. I have an 02 and love it. I'm also not sold on the new FXDWG, the old style looks like what I always thought a Harley should.
Thanks all. I agree with a lot of your opinions on the new vs. previous WG generation. The new iteration is a bad a$$ looking power cruiser, but not the "long and lonesome highway" bike that I like.
J&P has a couple V&H pipes on sale for a pretty decent price. Double Barrel Q-Series, Straight Shots, and Competition Drag. The Bassanis on the bike now sound really good, but I know the wife won't like sitting on the bike with them. I'm considering the Double Barrels... OR, the Straight Shots with quiet baffles.
I have SEII on mine, and they sound good, quieter than some Louder than others. All my bikes have been pretty loud, so most likely I am either going to trade these out, or install Big City Thunder baffles, for a noise and HP gain.
