Looking to buy a new rotor for my front brakes. I have mags on the bike, so not sure if that makes a difference. Is anyone currently using a wave rotor on there SB that could share some insight?. Not sure what type of rotor to buy. All I know is this single disk brake **** sucks. Looking for an improvement with out having to go duel disk . Thanks in advance for any feed back.
What brake pads are you running? Try Lyndall gold plus if you dont have those already. Much better than stock HD pads. They also sell ceramic rotors, but very pricey.
Replace the brake calipers before the rotor for better braking. Chances are the rotor is totally fine.
Changing it out and keeping the 2piston calipers will do little. Performance Machine makes a line of 4pison calipers, as do a few other manufacturers. Direct bolt on, about 400-500$ though...
Get a Brembo caliper off a bagger and a steel braided line. Obviously all you need is the left caliper but it might be tough to find a left only as all the people that are selling one caliper have taken off the right to go to single disc. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-Touri...f7ebb5&vxp=mtr

I'm running stock pads. I will definitely look in to those. Thanks
actually you would need the 6piston calipers. Same cost though. And sharp looking.
thanks man not sure I wanna dish out that kinda money at the moment . still recouping my funds from my 95" build. Just looking for a cheap but effective method to adding some breaking power.
