Pardon my novice level of this stuff.. But I am gonna pick up a tail bag for my FXDC in which I have a solo seat on. I am looking for recommendations for a bag.
I know there are different types of mounts such as magnetic, suction, or straps. Which of these methods works best compared to others? On the straps, where do those mount?
Lastly, due to have an exposed fender from the solo seat. Do I need to protect the fender from scratching with a fender bib or something?
If your fender is exposed ,it would be best to protect it.Here is a link to a Duffle bag that we make http://shop.captain-itch.com/searchq...eywords=duffle and we also make fender bibbs so check out our site,Thank you Larry
A tail bag usually refers to a bag thats attached to a backrest. I'm not sure if you have a backrest or not but I love my HD tailbag. Slips over the backrest and secure straps to the luggage rack or tail lights. I kind fit all kinda stuff in it.

I purchased this one last year and use it allot.
it has plenty of room for gear, looks great on the bike.
I have a harley solo rack and attach it to that.
there is a bigger one but I like this one.
I use the Kuryakyn Classic Tour Bag. It's strapped to the rear shocks and turn signals. Great back rest too. Sits on my luggage rack but a fender bib will work also.
ckeck e bay...there a lot of good deals...hell i should sell you one of mine i have 3!! all of them are HD i bought 1 new (i had a gift card from dealer) the other two i got used o e-bay
Mine just came UPS today. $85 shipped brand new off eBay.
Thats a good deal.
I couldn't pass it up when I saw the deal. I'm riding out to Sturgis the week before and can't wait to have some back support. I'll even be able to put a pad between the velcro straps if I want more support.
