For the past few years Harley has been putting out Super Glide Customs rather than Super Glides. Anyone know why? As a young man I personally perfer dyna glides over glide customs. I like the speedo on bars, mag wheels lack of paint stripe, etc.
I think they would sell a LOT of them if they brought the standard FXD back , but with the HD1 program for the FXDB, you can make it whatever you want, minus the speedo on the bars.
I foresee HD combining the FXDC and the FXDB into one bike and using the HD1 program to customize each one. Dealers could order it in any variation they wanted, or the customer can order it to their specs with the options they want.
probably because it costs more do build the standard. sounds crazy but thats how it works these days. its like wanting manual windows and door locks on a pickup, thats a special order now.
Off topic but i love the FXDL sad they dont make them anymore nice and low and love the tac and speedo on the tank...Which is why i bought the one in the my sig.
