This is what you do. You buy the chrome accessory trim piece from Harley dealer for like $15 and it goes directly over the stock speedo trim. I found it in the bagger section of the dealer but it's 4" and fits perfectly over our stock speedo.
You can then paint it whatever color you want or you can send it to Joe @ The Powder Pro and have it powdered. You can see it in this pic in the middle of the headlight trim:

How do you remove a speedo guage on a 04 FLHRS? It has like a plastic lock ring hold it into the console. I want to get the console powder coated as the chrome if fading?
