Every time I think I am getting close to what I want, the little devil on my shoulder talks me into doing another mod. First I put forwards on, then came the Big Sucker II and the Cobra tuner. Then I had to try a windshield (started with the HD compact, but just switched to Clearview). Added some more chrome, floorboards, and new headlight. Next, came a new speedo. Today, I added detachable sideplates so I could clean up the back end.
Now I'm trying to decide if I want saddlebags (Leatherpros) or apes next.
Next season I'm planning on cams.
Help me please, I think I'm an addict. Is there an organization like AA for people like me (maybe MA)? Oh well, I'd just see someones bike on the way to the meetings and want to change something else.
It's your own fault for having that kick *** paint scheme! That bike is freaking suuuWeeeet.
Thanks SLV, I really fell in love with it when I saw it. Had to have it. I do see really nice paint jobs that appeal to me occasionally, but I always seem to decide I like mine better.
I'm kinda stuck now. I had Chris at ThreeMuttsCustoms make me a custom rear fender bib that is awesome. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. Chris does great work and his customer service is the greatest.
It ends .....when you don't have the money to put into it like you once had : )
My only mods over the winter are a headlight relocation (FXDL) & new mirrors. In Spring I'm going to paint a couple things, but after that I'm not sure what else to do.... (until I get more money.....lol)
