they get the wind off your hands, keep them warmer, and in the event of something bad they would prob do well to protect your hands... i have them on my sport touring and it gets down into the teens before i turn on my hand warmers.
plus... they look cool on the right bike!
Speaking of your sport tourer, didn't you get a DL650? What are your impressions?
This comes from a guy who lives in a state known for painting football fields blue, so need to consider the source here guys. Not to mention he can't spell.
So...to post on "YOUR" thread, you can't voice an honest opinion? Positive opinions only? Kinda defeats the purpose of posting anything at all! By the way...I had no call as to the color of BSU's blue ball field! I think IT looks gay too! What can you do? As to my sphelng...I've seen worse here!

Why put down something someone likes or thinks looks cool on their bike? I'm sure we all see things on this site that we wouldn't have on our own bike, but to tell people you don't even know that a part they put on their bike is gay is just rude. After all, the guy who fabricated them is on here too. Be cool dude, life is short. The MX handguards (cage crackers) are in style on club bikes.
Used Plastidip to paint the handguards (about 4 coats) then the glossifier **** they have (About 2 coats). Came out good. Looks better with the fairing on there now...... They work awesome to cut the wind of your hands. Was about 28 degrees out today, Didnt feel **** on the hands.

Sorry to say this man, but that is the gayest thing I have ever seen anybody do to their Harley! I urge you to rethink this...you're giving us all a bad name! Just my ever so humble opinion!
Your tripping homey.. I urge you to rethink your posts.. People like what they like. If you don't like it.. Don't respond. Ever so humble opinion? Ha ha..
Some people like them, others don't. To each his own. I personally love the look of them. They'll defiantly look more "in place" when I get my new fairing
