they get the wind off your hands, keep them warmer, and in the event of something bad they would prob do well to protect your hands... i have them on my sport touring and it gets down into the teens before i turn on my hand warmers.
plus... they look cool on the right bike!

So...to post on "YOUR" thread, you can't voice an honest opinion? Positive opinions only? Kinda defeats the purpose of posting anything at all! By the way...I had no call as to the color of BSU's blue ball field! I think IT looks gay too! What can you do? As to my sphelng...I've seen worse here!

Ill shot you a PM bud, i ended up going with a bandit. it is awesome!
Used Plastidip to paint the handguards (about 4 coats) then the glossifier **** they have (About 2 coats). Came out good. Looks better with the fairing on there now...... They work awesome to cut the wind of your hands. Was about 28 degrees out today, Didnt feel **** on the hands.
