Bikes look'n good! I bet those dirt roads get interesting at times without a front fender
Thank ynots, and trust me, nothing gets more interesting than rainy roads without a front fender I'm trying to beat the old fender into shape so it fits the new fat tire, added brackets to make extra space.
Like those Z bars. What's the pull back? Do you lean into them much?
I don't lean into them much because I have risers with generous pullback on them. It's a comfy ride. I do want straight risers though so the bars can be more at shoulder level.
Great looking bike man.. Im guessing you got a great deal on it too?? which makes the whole thing even better AND cooler..
Thank you Dirknar! I live abroad, so I often rely on salvage-auctions to get my motorcycles. This Dyna Super Glide is my actually my fourth bike but my first Harley Davidson.
The auction ended at $2900 + fees, which was quite a steal! Getting the bike down here was a whole different story though. I ended up paying around $3,200 to get it through customs and all the red tape, making a $6,200 overall, which converted to my local currency is L.124,000 (the currency rate is 20:1)
With that being said, it's still better than the $14K options the only H-D dealer in the country has to offer. So yes, the fact that I saved major bucks is definitely a plus!
