Hello there
the bags look well on the bike. Every time i see a leather pro topic posted it reminds me to get saving for a set they are great products.
tbone.
Well I hit a snag. I put the brackets on- which required re-running the signal light wires- and found out that my short 5/8" standoffs that hold the tail lights to the stuts are too short. The bag brackets hit the lights. So I ordered some longer 1 1/4" standoffs and will have to re-wire everything again. I hope that gets me the needed clearance.

Waiting for the midwest blizzard to hit. I have time. I'm looking at these and the tear drop bags from US saddlebag Co.

The custom mount system and custom backs alone .Sold the leather pros for me . No extra frame work left behind when removed . Mounting system Included. The backs ar moulded to fit that bike so they fit tight to the bike and locking. Come on.
So I'm working with Gary at leather pro. Great guy. I just sent him templets for custom flames to match the 2010-on Wgs . I think these are going to look killer.
Well after 2 weeks of buying different iterations of turn signal mounts- I finally got the clearance I need and mounted the bags. I'm very happy with them. They stand off the struts more than I'd like, but the solid build and mounts make up for them.
Here is the rear bracket- you can see the signal needs at least 1.25" of stand-off or the bag bracket hits the light.
I noticed the bag on the left side of my bike sits about 3/8" lower than the bag on the right.
Kinda bothered me a bit, but yesterday I put new Progressive full cover shocks on it, and the left side bag rubs against the shock. Plenty of room on the right side.
Might be sending them back or something to get it worked out.
It's pretty ovbious in this picture the bags don't sit the same.
