these make a huge difference in ride and comfort. have them on my dyna now, but they are air "asisst" shocks not air ride suspension. so dont get the full benifit of a true air ride. next year i am settign up a full air ride system with the monroe max air 785 shocks, mini compressor and some fittings etc.

That's a great idea. Are the 785 shocks too stiff for a bike?
12.6" looks like I am on the hunt for some 12" air shocks. Are the ultima ones bad?
Just listed a set of 12" Street Glide shocks on Ebay here is a link to the listing if you guys are interested. I was going to do this mod myself but I decided to go another direction. The shocks have about 4K miles on em and have the individual shraders already installed as well as 10WT Bel Ray shock oil.
I had a set of 13" ultra air shocks cut down to 11" with a heavier wt. oil. Thanks Cory S for the post. Phoenix Customs, gota love when they pick up phone on 2ring, East cost to them and back just over a week and in my hands.
yea man top notch customer service for sure and i have putt 1000 miles on them so far! by far the best mod i have done to the bike. my kidneys dont hurt anymore. i dont cringe at the sight of a bridge deck or pot hole!
I know this is an old thread but I bought my fxdx with Progressive 970's already installed. I'm a small guy 145lbs and have been having a hard time getting these dialed for my weight, one of the guys I ride with recommended getting air shocks.
Would you say air shocks are better ride than 970's. I mainly ride solo commute to work the freeway is pretty nasty and bumpy and my wife does ride and when she rides the shocks ride way better!
Hey Cory, Do the 11" shocks stay 11" when you put the 20lbs in them? Or do they rise a little bit like turning up preload on a spring shock brings them up a little?
