Question 2000 dyna

Good afternoon everyone,New guy here with a question on twin cam fluids..
Since my nearest dealer is an hour away i'm trying to find out what the equivelent of the transmission and primary fluids the manual says to use..any ideas?? We just purchased this 2000 Dyna Low Rider with 19,000 mile and dont know when or if they have ever been changed. Thank's Scott

Oil with new filter - 2.5 Quarts (Wet) or 3.0 Quarts (Dry change)
Trans - 20-24 oz
Primary – Fill to bottom edge of clutch diaphragm spring, Aprox 26oz

This info is right out of the Service Manual which you should buy right away – best money you can spend. Without one, be sure to research here. Very common mistake to drain the wrong plug.

Also you will need new gaskets and O rings, the dealer can help you with this.

You can use 20w50 in all three holes if you want.
I use 20w50 in the engine and trans, and 75w-90 gear oil in the trans
