My prescription glasses keep getting all scratched up by my goggles...even the honkers I have now..Goggs...and they stick out about a full inch off my head. I know that seems odd but they have ruined 2 sets of very expensive glasses now. So, I have to go with a full face helmet I guess and I don't want to look like a peacock flying down the road....you know what I mean? Choices in black would be great.
I went into both harley shops here in O.C. and they have a slim to none selection of full face helmets.
Can you guys direct me to some places that have a decent selection?? I'm willing to drive 60-70 miles if I have to...I'm in Huntington Beach.
TIA.
I forgot to mention in my post above that I need to actually try the helmet on....that's why the internet shopping experience is not gonna work.
TIA
Hey man Google to see if a Cycle gear is in your area. They have tons of helmets and a great return policy. Other than that any powersport dealer will have a good gear selection (crotch rocket/ dirtbike/metric dealer). But my first bet would be cycle gear. There is one in laguna hills fullerton and long beach.
This isn't going to be of much help for you now but keep it in mind for the future... The show they just had in Long Beach a month or so ago, or somewhere like that is a great place to buy a helmet. Every helmet manufacturer you could think of is represented there so you can try them all. And the prices at the show are pretty good too because of all of the competition.
Cycle Gear is the way to go there is one in Anaheim off of the 91 fwy and Harbor Blvd. large selection of f/f helmets, I picked up 2 over x-mas with the bluetooth for 150 ea. another thing to note is that they have a no hassle helmet return policy, I had to take mommas back in cause it was too big on her and they swapped it no questions asked
