Foot peg extensions???
Howdy all, just picked up my 09 CVO Fatbob - I'm about to put on Kury 3" forward control extensions but then I want some width on the footpegs. I want to run the existing footpegs just a couple of inches wider so I can rest easy around the big sucker and have it on the shifter side just to keep the symetry of the bike in place. Anyone have the same problem or share their experience? I want to use the existing footpegs - am I stuck with putting on some highway pegs???
Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestion

Simple solution....buy the 5" extended HD pegs. They eliminated the knee into air cleaner issue for me and are much more comfortable while maintaining the same look. These are chrome on the end instead of rubber.
Part #49500-92T

Thanks Sharkman - I really wanted to use the existing footpegs that came with my CVO. Finally success!!! PistolPete and anyone else that is looking for the same accesory try the Kuryakyn 1-3/4 in. Forward Control Peg Mount Extender #7525. It took me a while on the phone with Kury to make sure they actually would fit and in the end it all made sense. So if 1 3/4" is enough then these should do the job. Ive ordered them but have a couple of months away with work so wont be able to provide details until i get back sorry - at least there seems to be an answer that still uses your existing pegs!!!
i had the same problem ordered some extensions from j&p they are called stirrup extenders page 865 i got the 1-1/4" part number 530-303 they work great i can get my whole boot on my pegs now using my existing pegs
Just placed an order for my exended pegs today. They are Drag Specialties units. $27.95 (P/N DS-253403). Glad to hear they should work. Price was better than Harley, but they don't have the Bar & Shield logo...
