I wish I'd done this first instead of the drag bars. I can't believe the difference in handling and comfort on the freeway. I think the narrower bar width helps make the bike more nimble. It handles much better in tight turns. I am only 5'7" and these are perfect for me. My hands are just a hair below shoulder level, and I'm not hunched over.
I did a crap-load of searching for other R6C 8" apes, and didn't find a whole lot out there, so I'm posting this for anyone else considering them or the RSD short stacks.
I had the stock 2" risers powdered, so they're a bit taller than if I'd used the 1" R6C risers. I wanted to keep the stock cables and it worked out (barely) by routing the clutch cable outside the triple tree.
Thank you Road 6, and thanks Moreland Choppers for the great work at a very reasonable price.
i have my clutch cable routed the same way. the triple tree has wreaked havic on it. hope you dont have the same problem i did. looks great otherwise. how fast can you get er goin in the whales vag?
Thanks guys. I love the way the look too, but the improvement in handling and comfort is the biggest advantage for me.

Been over 90 several times without realizing it. I'm not much of a speedster, but 90 doesn't feel like 90 on this thing.
Moreland convinced me routing the cable that way was worth it. If it gives me problems, it isn't hard to swap out. Saved me some money in the mean time. It's not hitting the tree or the tank. What's happening to yours?
