If I recall right yeah I did.. because when I took them out the old locktight looked pretty beat up.

Why are you doing it?

On long rides, I add the mid pegs, but not the controls. makes the bike a lot more comfortable.

Do you need to change the controls too?

More agressive and sportier riding with mids which is more my style anyways + i'll still have the highway for long trip

Gatone I hate you for real brothers(it's all love no homo haha) I was thinking I should not powder coat my primary gloss black or flat black because I thought that with my chrome motor It wouldn't be nice. but the more I look at your bike the more I want to do it in gloss black(even thought yours is flat) Should I or should I wait for my next primary oil change ?by the way I already have the electrical caddy cover and the spark plug cover in gloss black

I'm all for the powder coating black... Personaly I like the wrinkle black on the primary, but as long as it's some shade of black you are good lol. But since you have the electrical covers in gloss, I think gloss would look nice as well. Right now my bike is a mix between gloss/wrinkle black something I will eventually get around to fixing. Honestly with the job you have comin up with mids now would be a perfect time to do it. And it's prob cheaper than you think. I had my tank, side covers, and fenders powdered for 200 bucks. Not bad.

So to answer your question. I say yes. Go for it.

Also another thing to think about (not to make this decision any harder for you lol) But down the road you may want to put a big bore kit on your engine Like I'm in the process of doing now, and most of the kits I've seen come in the wrinkle (flat black) finish..

Why did i asked your advice hahaha .... Yeah if i decide to do it, it will be gloss black i'm surprise it is 35 on your side of the line around here coaters all say 80-85
