Flush mount gas caps?

Has anyone ever used the cheap flush mount pop up gas caps on their bikes?
Not necessarily the HD led ones but the cheaper version with no LED's. I plan on using the gas guage in my speedo/tach combo so I really just want the plain ol flush mount caps.
I'm worried about leaking and just being junk in general.

These ones are dirt cheap.

I haven't used them but that wont work on the fuel gauge side its not threaded

In the under $50 thread, somebody used it on the fuel gauge side by cutting the top off a tennis ball and shoving it down in the hole then poking the gas cap in it.
