2002 FXDX Price?

2002 FXDX Price?
I'm visiting from the touring forumhoping I can get some advice on pricing info for a friend. He's looking at a carbed 2002 Dyna Super Glide Sport FXDX with less than 2,000 miles on it located in Michigan. Can you give me some idea what price range this would be in? Anything to look out for in that model year or any major improvements in subsequent models years that would be worth going to a 2003 or 04? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Mine is the same year, but it is an FXD. It had 2700 miles on it. I paid $ 8,000 US. I got a good deal. Tell your buddy to start from there. No problems that I've encountered. I believe 2003 is essentially the same. Possibly in 2004 they started adding FI, but I don't know if the FXD's got it. I know some FXDLs did. Good Luck.

I bought mine with 5600 miles on in a few years ago. I paid 10000. It had some extra's on it and was in perfect condition. I've had no problems and she has almost 20000 miles on her now. My price was very fair (from a private sale) for comparable bikes.

The asking price is $9800.00. I thought that might be a little on the high side considering it's 5 years old, going on 6. But it does appearto be in pristine condition.
