Love to ride, sold the 600 Dragon Polaris back in March..waiting to snow check a new one within a month. Just picked up a Triton trailer for both the sleds and motorcycle....
Skidoo Formula III here... it's only a 600 but it goes like stink. 144 picks in the track gets it out of the hole damn quick... Been sledding since I was a kid! Actually, I've not been out this year, no time... winter is busy season. Thinkin' of selling it...
Dam 125mph in the snow, I've never seen snow but would love to take a ride on one of those. Can't imagine going that fast in snow and still be in control.
Was into sleddin' deep for a long long time, general manager of a sled shop for 4 years too. Finally gave it up a few years ago, loved mountain riding, but too much $$$ to drive from Chicago to the Rockies to ride and way too much $$$ invested in a toy that sits around 99% of the time. Nothing else really like it though, quite the rush to be truly free and riding in the open country.
Midwest snow has been so aweful for a long time, can't remember a decent winter in many years. So many people pushed up into the U.P. now that WI isn't getting snow. Trails and congestion everywhere it seems, way too many cowboys riding beyond their limits on the trails to be safe anymore. Glad I gave up trail riding, but even finding good deep snow off-trail is getting harder, especially with areas getting shut down to riding. It's a great sport but with sales still going down each year, I fear the sport doesn't have much life left in it.
170 HP? Even on a well built up big bore SRX that's a fairly tall number.....quite the lake runner though.
