Take your time, follow the manuals specs and vids, clean everything at least 3 times and if you get stuck call FM. Other than that, NO! No one has ever done it by themselves. We're all mechanically challenged.

I had never taken a V twin motor apart before I did My 103 upgrade i watched the FM video a couple times and said what the hell i can doo it. To be honest I was a little intimidated at first, but once I got into it I found it was easier to work on than the jap bikes. You WILL need the right tools like a good set of torque wrenches, the harbor freight ones work well and a blind hole bearing puller. This is an absolute must have if You break one of those cam bearings and a piece of it falls inside the motor, now You have to pull it and split the case to get the fragment out. Some say You need the jig to put the new cam bearings back in, it can be done without it. lastly get Yourself a service manual read it learn it love it become one with it.
