Default Ghostbrackets or Easybrackets???

I am getting ready to purchase a set of saddlebags for my bike and want detachables. I have been told that both Ghostbrackets and Easybrackets are the way to go. Has anyone had issues or good luck with either of these? What are the pros or cons to each? I have been pushed by a local dealer to get ghostbrackets, but heard from another guy that they are hard to remove with a stock seat.

I'm very happy with my easy brackets. Never tried ghost brackets.

Easy brackets use a key to lock the bracket to the bike. I'm not sure how GB's work.

Easy Brackets have worked well for me for over a year. No interference with the seat or any other part when removing. Don't have any experience with Ghost Brackets.

I have easy brackets and they work well. I have no personal experience with ghostbrackets, but I have heard that they move the bags out further from the fender than easy brackets. Can't say if this is true or not, but that's what I have been told.

Sounds like easy brackets must be the way to go. Thanks to all. I greatly appreciate it.

[sm=hiya.gif]I have Ghost brackets. Never had a problem with em.They were easy to install and they lock the bracket/bags with a key.

so with easy brackets you just take any saddle bag and bolt it to the bracket? im assuming you cut of the leather yoke if you have throwovers? is thats correct. anyone have a good source that sells them cheap?

I've got Easy Brackets and they work well ...However, no one bothered to mention that they rattle like hell whenever the bags are empty.I've heard that this can be fixed by adding washers to either the front or rear mounting pegs but I haven't tried it yet.

Easy Brackets! Work great, and when off the chrome docking studs blend in well with the bike.
