What do you guys think about EITMS?
I currently have the skip-fire feature activating at 284F and find that even on relatively cool days, after 5-10 mins of stop n go traffic, I'm getting activation. I can't imagine what it's going to be like here in the Texas summer heat. I really don't like the way it feels and sounds...seems like the bearing stress from running on one cylinder can't be good for very long. What's the consensus on whether the feature is really worth it in terms of cooling just the rear cylinder? I already have my tune set to run pretty rich at idle.

Good point. Didn't think about it that way. I guess it's just that it puts a lot more stress on the front cyl to have to push the dead cyl and if I'm sitting in traffic, the front isn't getting any more air over it than the back.
I have to admit, it's stupid but this makes me self conscious as well. When I'm used to it sounding so good, it sounds terrible running on only one. I'm just waiting for some douche to pull up next to me and say "hey man, one of your cylinders is dead!"
I do plan on installing an oil cooler before summer, but while any extra surface area exposed to air will add SOME benefit, if it's 100F ambient, with no air movement, that cooler ain't gonna do much. Probably not enough to be worth the $300.
