V&H Short shots install switchback.

Ok going to do a V&H Short shot install on my 2012 Switchback this weekend. The pipes were already installed on a switchback and the heatshield is modified to fit the floorboards. I will also have to space out the floor board 1/2" to fit the pipes. What I want to know is there any pointers to doing the exhaust. It look pretty straight forward and I will replace the gaskets at the heads with new ones. Anything else I need to know?

I just did the exhaust on mine. Pretty straight forward. I did not change my gaskets, but my bike only has 500 miles on it. Good luck.

I put the short shots on my switchback a month ago. No more necessary (the lindy bar I installed already moved the floorboards out a half an inch). Change your gaskets its cheap. I love the new sound...good luck!
