Wal Mart Battery?
My '07 WG still has the original battery and is due for a replacement. I've been looking around and Wal Mart seems to have good prices compared to auto parts stores, etc. Has anyone had any experience with them? I don't want to spend $60 for a piece of junk, but I also don't want to overkill it with a $200 battery either.
Thanks,
Matt

I bought 2 of those batteries, one for each of my bikes.
They are fine after 2 years... Just keep them on the tender if you store the bikes... Which is good practice for all batteries.
The Harley battery is: 65989-97c Battery Sealed 19 AH Dual Term, 1 @ 129.95

My 07' Wideglide still has its original battery also. The one thing I know for sure is that when I do have to replace it I will make sure I get another AGM battery. Thats the reason that the original last so long.
Well my take on this after using them ------------If you weigh them compared with another aftermarket battery you will usually find the walmart battery is way lighter.I wont use them any more
I have a Deka, good cracking power. I plug in my battery tender whenever I park my bike, it lasts many years.

I had to replace my battery while the bike is at the dealer for speedo issues [U1079 code], it was 1 month short of 7 years old. Went with another HD battery. My 07 XL still has original battery, and when it dies I'll go with HD for it. Spread the cost over 6 or 7 years and its really inexpensive. Just my .02.

The company that makes the Deka also makes walmart batteries.Get the exact same number and compare the weight difference. The local scrappers hate the yellow walmart batteries as they dont make the same weight and take up load space
I agree with Pete...............It's like comparing a Caterpillar battery to the Napa replacement..............Napa is only about 2/3's the weight.
put a deka in mine last year, $70-80 i think, was like half the price my local harley dealer wanted. found somewhere online that deka makes haleys batteries. compared them when i got the deka and they look exactly the same except the deka has a white bottom, the weight was the same also
