The 11" 412 progressives on my 2005 sporster are off set,( 412-4005B) The ones on my Street Bob are not. (412-4045B)(412-4037B is the non Heavy Duty) They need to send you the right shocks.
ok..here's what ive found so far....these shocks will bolt up, given you use the proper spacers[otherwise they install too close to the fender strut] which i was pretty stoked about, 'cuz they look freakin great!
however..there must be something to the whole load bearing issue,as i have the shocks adjusted to the last[highest] setting...and with my weight alone[208lbs] i can easily make the fender touch the beltguard!
im pretty sure ive read here how guys quite a bit bigger than myself running their 412's midway and have no issues like this...
what do you guys think?
did i just answer my own question?
should i get the heavy duty ones? my bike is pretty much solo only..as ive converted wifey's for 2-up
or should i go with the 4037b? which do you guys run?
I guess ya just want to use them. I gave ya the right Number...412-4045B C if ya want chrome Mine are on #1 setting and never hit I'm 190 lbs2006 Street Bob.The heavyDutys are the same price. Iwent with the Heavy Duty Just to make sure and glad i did. 412-4045B
