Put V&H Short shots on my 2012 Switchback over the weekend. Just knotch out the heat shield for the mounting peg for the floorboard...

Don't need to notch the heat shields just clearance the right rear floor board mount about .75" like I did on mine. If you go to my photo album.

This is the way I went with a simple spacer block. Easy and 100% reversable.
