Love the bike pedels, but the wheels are a stretch for me. Maybe if the wheels were black! But great idea and digging the fact that its yours and no one elses do what you like!
That's a cool idea. I think that orange is a little distracting though. I would probably do a color that sticks out less so that when people finally notice it they'd be like "oh **** dude!"
Yes they roll on bearings. It's odd for about 3 minutes then feels normal.
The color is what I had in the garage but any skateboard wheels would work. 5 minute change. All colors are available.
The pedals are BMX pedals on Bungking adapters. I have a different thread about them. Best functional mod I've done outside of engine power mods.
They grip like glue and the free rotation is something that everyone should try. Better than floorboards.
now i wish i still had some slime *****, OJIIs, Rat Bones, X bones... the list goes on! i really dig it man! so, do you recommend a 90A for comfort? or a 101A for durability?
Nice original idea. Got my first commercial skateboard in 1962; had metal skate wheels. We used to have oval track races on smooth concrete, like speed skaters. Lots of fun back then.
scott504, better an orange stain than a yellow one.

LOL !
Mostly I recommend 52mm or less in diameter. I'm pretty sure hardness won't make much difference.
Dirt dreamer, I hate to tell you, but I was born in '62! My first board had metal wheels though. Probably '68 or '69. We skated the concrete river in Sharpstown, Houston.

I was in Waco at the time, but have been in the Houston area for 33 years. Sharpstown has really changed, for the worse....
