I am considering doing the Kuryakyn Panacea taillight modification to my ’02 Low Rider. Is this modification worth the cost of the Deluxe LED taillight and rear turn signal inserts? Also, should I go ahead and do the front turn signal and running lights with the LED inserts? Will I need any additional wiring harnesses or adapters for the modification? I am running a HD stock taillight and turn signals (front & rear) at the present.
Any recommendation for a quality laydown license plate holder, I hate the stock license plate holder, looks like a sail or something like that. Looking to clean up the rear fender and back of the bike.
I removed my 50's bullet taillights from the rear strut of my 06 Bob. I purchased the Panacea from Custom Dynamics (close to my house they are) and installed it with no problems. I just have the 1 light back there on the fender and it serves as brake and turn signal. There is also a selectable pulse feature with the brake light function. The only problem I had was locating the switch/circuit board in-line with my wiring harness. It plugged in a-okay, but there was no room under the seat with my PCIII. I wrapped the switch/circuit board in tape and it sits tightly between the rear fender and electrical housing under the seat.
Call and talk to the folks at Custom Dynamics, they are a site sponsor. They have everything in there to make work what you want to make work. There's also a milf and a hot youngdaughter in there.

Agree - very simple installation. If you do so, make sure to seal the tailight gasket w/ plenty of silicone - I did not and get some condensation. Would also like to switch to the combined signal/rear lamp combo but have not had a chance to check local laws...
I just today installed the Panacea tail light. It's easy. Unscrew the two phillips screws holding the stock unit on, then unplug the stock one. Place the new phoam gasket over the tail light base. Plug in the new tail light. Under the seat, disconnect the wire harness to the tail light. Plug one end of the controller into the main wire harness. Plug the other end of the controller into the tail light wiring connector.
Make sure your load equalizer is plugged into the control module. Put the seat back on, and test that it is operational.
I set mine up, with switches on the controller, to blink when the brake is applied, then go solid, and to also behave as turn signals.
Real simple install, nice clean look, and a bit brighter too.
