Ahh you used the DEI, gotcha, I seen that at the local speed shop. Is a lot easier to use than the old wrap supposedly, no wetting to wrap, and no sealing to prevent rust, etc... about time!
I have wrapped the pipes on my race bikes a few times using the hi temp spray when done, it does work well but the new DEI wrap has lava rock coating and it basically hardens and cures after a heat cycle or two. I let the bike idle for about 6 or so minutes after install and got her nice and hot, this definitely cured the wrap and its pretty hard now, we'll see how it holds up to its first wash this weekend.
