Windshield washer trick

I had a woman in a an old range rover do that to me with her REAR wiper. Only the nozzle was broken and it was basically like being shot in the face with a water gun. To make it worse she just KEPT DOING IT like it would eventually fix itself. I don't know how much washer fluid a range rover holds out back but it's a lot.

I guess I'm not riding close enough because this hasn't been a problem for me on a motorcycle. When I see the windshield washing, I just give them a bigger gap. If you plan to "argue" with a car, make sure you ride faster than they drive.

Happens a lot during my morning commute because people are cleaning off the dew or salt air or whatever. At 80 mph, I don't think it matters how far back you are from them, you'll still get sprayed. I usually see it coming and change lanes or turn my head a little. I don't think anyone's ever done it to me on purpose, and if they did...meh. It's not like getting hit with empty cans or rocks.

I've had it happen on a few occasions. Like others have said, I don't know if the drivers even knew it was happening... but it sure was annoying. Usually it's been on the freeway and it travels quite a distance.
