I was looking at the D and D website and they suggest going with the boarzilla if using woods cams. I thought the boarzilla was for the larger motor builds. My bike is a 13 fat bob, I was looking into woods cams just looking for opinions as I don't know much about harleys.
Boarzilla is too much pipe for a 103 with just cams' change. You'll lose bottom end hp and trg. You need min. 116ci for a Boarzilla. Stick with a Fat Cat, you be satified with the performance and sound. Boarzilla with std baffle is quite loud; quiet baffle is tolerable. Get the upsweep version to prevent pipe from scraping if you're aggressive around curves.
The FatCat is available with 4 different baffles--Standard, Quiet, Big Boar, & Quiet Big Boar. I think the recommendation on the website is to use the Big Boar baffle with Wood cams, although I'm not sure why. In any case, I went with the quiet Big Boar baffle. Can't comment on it yet, as I'm still putting the motor back together and haven't ran it yet. I think the Boarzilla has bigger diameter pipes than the standard FatCat.
From the D&D website:
Baffles
Louvered baffles are for 80" to Stock 103" motors
Big Boar baffles are for Stage 4 103" to 113" motors
Baffles come in a Wrapped version to make them a little quieter.
Note: The inter core of the louvered baffle is 2 1/4"
Note: The inter core of the big boar baffle is 2 1/2"
496-31-32 does have 18mm 02Bungs in the header pipe
All Dyna's have to be tuned with the full system.
Note: If you are using Woods cams use the Big Boar Baffle
