Default back fire out intake

Not sure how to describe it other than the title. When I start it sometimes get poof out the intake. Just installed V and H straightshots and micro tuner. Cranks a little to start as well. Any suggestions are appreciated. Stg 1 AC.

I have heard that can happen while starting depending upon where the piston stops when it turns off. It's not a back fire its more of a cough right? Mine has done this to me on a couple occasions. It does not do it every time does it?

Yeah, more like a cough. Doesn't seem to do it every time, but then again, I've only started a few times since the pipes. Almost too cold out to ride much.

I would wait and talk to fuel moto before making any changes. More than likely they have heard of this and will be able to give you the answers you are looking for. If you could keep us posted I will be interested to hear what they say?

Yeah I'd be interested too. I've had this happen maybe 6 or 7 times since I bought my bike.
