FLD not a bagger, eh? Spent a lot of time on mine for no reason I guess.
Sweet I'll tell my friend that her Sporty with hard bags and 40,000 miles on it just turned into a bagger. She'll be exstatic with her jump in trade-in value!! I mean she's spent A LOT of time on it!

A lot of people get their panties in a bunch about references. I personally don't care what you call something as long as you think it to be true. I had the same debate with my Bobber, but everywhere i went people said nice Bobber...
IMO i sold my bobber style bike to buy something more practical to ride on long trips. Do i think the Switchback is a beautiful bike, no not really, but it has a purpose and i bought it for that reason. Practicality and comfort is what i believe makes a bagger, and obviously hardbags...
But you don't have to take my word for it, we can see the "Bagger Magazine" has to say about it: Motorcycle Bagger magazine for Harley riders. Some Harley riders have asked just what is a motorcycle bagger. In simple terms it is a motorcycle with saddlebags. But the reality is a motorcycle bagger, especially when referring to Harley baggers, is a rider’s passion for riding farther than to the local bike show, biker hangout or bar. People who ride Harley baggers tend to be enthusiastic, long term riders who appreciate comfort and function in their motorcycles – stock or modified - over simply making a fashion statement. The term has taken on more meaning as a long distance rider who needs and uses the additional storage space. But a motorcycle bagger, especially Harley baggers, often do have some custom and personal upgrades. This can be wheels, custom paint, exhaust and performance improvements and more.
Whatever you call it, nice looking bike man! I personally love the switchbacks for the same reason you said. Practical style bike with storage, but not as massive as some of the bigger bikes they offer and handles well.

Very well said! As I posted on another thread "When exactly did Harley riders become sooo thin skinned and judgemental"?
Seems like many have become almost reactionaires, as in you say the sky is blue and someone will correct you saying actually it is Robins egg blue! LOL! Anyway nice ride!
