Default Mustang seat question

I recently bought a Mustang Day Tripper seat with the drivers backrest, I love the backrest, but the seat is really tough to take for longer rides. I was wondering if you could buy a mustang seat that will accept the drivers backrest, without having to buy the seat and the backrest? I would like to have both seats, one for just riding around, and the other for longer rides. I'm going to Laconia in June, and thats about 500 miles from the house. Any ideas?

You can buy another seat that will accept the rest. They will sell it without the rest itself. I had two for my touring bike...

When you bought your seat, did you buy it direct through Mustang, or were you able to buy from any distributer?

Get the mustang classic or whatever. They have a big cushy one for touring. Still looks good on the bike
