I take my bike to a shop that has three very, very experienced Harley mechanics. I'd bet that between the three they have over 100 years of experience. One of them builds Harley Davidson XR750 race engines for top Grand National flat track racers. Those engines are about $15,000 apiece. He KNOWS what he's talking about when it comes to Harley engines. NONE of them................I repeat................NONE of them has anything good to say about Power Commanders. As one of them said when I took my bike in for the EXACT same problem you're having "Get that Power Commander OFF your bike!!" He was right. As soon as he took it off, my bike ran fine again. I wouldn't give you three cents for a Power Commander.

So you are not using a tuner at all? I may go that route

I had a power comander was a big pain in the but using a fuel pak set it once and bike is running fine.Just wondering your bike was running fine why did you go with pc?Were you going to cams etc?I would do what the previous poster said zero out you map and if the bike runs fine its you map if it doesnt run fine then you may have a bad pc.Good luck hope you get it figured out.Miss the old days of a carb easy to tune no injectors map sensors etc

I am planning on cams in the future..now I'm a little hesitant to do anything. The bike used to be fun to ride.. Now it runs like ****..... Runs fine without the pc--I think I pissed $300 out the window.

I had issues when I installed Big Radius 2-2 with my PCV. Finally after talking to Keith several times and two new map updates (always richer), I found the problem to be that I had left the baffles in the pipes when I installed them. My 12 WG was having a serious hesitation/cutting out problem. I removed the baffles and that made all the difference and now it seems to be running great. Minor backfiring when I really twist it up and let off. If I have anymore problems, I will drop an autotune in it.

No man, someone will fix you up. At the very worse FM will cut you a deal on an upgrade or lateral trade for another tuner. I don't think they would have sold you the pc-v if it wasn't good for your bike. I know it must feel like your in a washing machine, if you call dynojet they will kick you back to FM but it is worth a try. I've been there and done that , but with patience it'll work out. It does suck that this is happening to you.

Well, I just tried a zero map and most of my issue are gone. The hesitation is completely gone, I do get some decel popping if I make it happen. That proves to me that tuners are way over-rated. I bet I get my fuel economy back also.
