That is a 88" TC. Harley switched over to the 96" in 2007.

Looks like 88 cubic inches or approximately 1442 cc's. http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/har...glide_2006.php

Hmmm. Again I'm hearing both. Haha. I could have sworn that 06 Dynas got the 96", and they didn't put the 96" in the softails until 07, but I could be wrong.

I have one and I can assure you it is 88ci. Don't get me wrong, it is a good motor. I have 25,000 plus miles on mine and the only mod I have made is to tack weld the alternator rotor/compensator bolts. The thing about the 6 speed in that year is the 6th gear is still 1:1 ratio, just like the previous 5th speed, not overdrive. Given a chance, I will put one of the newer model gear sets into it. Then I will have overdrive 6th. In the wind.

Is it an 06 model bike ? In which case its an 88, or was it first bought in 06 in which case purchased the first half of 06 its a 88 purchased later in the year it's a 96, don't know why Harleys don't bring out new models in January, plus if its a 96 it will have six speed stamped on the trans cover, if its blank its a 88.

Yeah sorry ignore that last part they went over to 6 speed on the 06 bikes as smgfisher says so they'll all have six speed stamped on the transfer cover.
